Getting back on track.

It goes without saying that keeping up with the blog has been a complete fail. As was the case with my twitter account initially, but now I'm addicted to Twitter and figured I'll give the blog thing another go - this time...no promises.

I was hired full-time at IN Food Marketing & Design (www.infoodmarketing.com) as a project coordinator earlier this summer. Can't even express how relieved I was to have the consistency and stability of a full-time, salaried position...with benefits! Two things I miss: 1. lazy, summer, mid-week days 2. working with kids-nannying or volunteering in the classroom, which is what I did all last year.

10 quick life updates:
1. I have a million friends getting married. Ok, not a million but a ton. Special shout out to the couple that's wedding is coming up in just 11 days (8/29) ...Matt & Amanda. Love you dearly.

a. Side note - just threw Amanda's Bachelorette party and it was (hate this overused word, but...) epic!

2. A couple of friends are having babies! Excited to welcome them to the world any day now.

3. Still living at home, yup - lame.

4. Bought my first car this spring (steal grey 2010 Ford Focus), and was in an accident a week later. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured and I got my baby (car) back good-as-new.

5. Already mentioned the job...

6. I'm dying
to go on a trip - in the process of figuring that out.
7. All last school year I volunteered in a 1st grade classroom and it was bomb. I had the best students and miss them lots. Very bummed I won't be able to do it this com
ing school year.
8. After being gone for over 11 months on a world mission trip, The World Race, my bestest - Martha - finally came home. No words describe how much I missed her and how happy I am that she is back. It's just not the same without this girl.

9. Despite working full-time, I really feel that I have made the most of my weekends and days off and enjoyed the wonderfully hot summer! Many days on various MN lakes, as well as a couple trips up to my faves - Duluth and the cabin!

10. Can't think of an exciting 10th update, but 9 is a ugly number...
