This past Saturday was an unusually gorgeous fall day here in Minnesota - temps in the '60s! Normally, temps would be in the low 40's and we would have at least one major snow storm under our belt. And how did I spend my day? Watching a solid 8 hours of Harry Potter with friends. It was dubbed, "The End of Our Childhood - Harry Potter Movie Marathon"
As if you don't already know this - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 of 2 comes out 11/19. This is the last movie, of the last book, of the greatest book series. A series that literally defined my childhood and life so far. "HP changed my life," "I want to marry Ron," "Hermoine is such a bitch," "Seriously, what the hell are we going to do when this is over." - All very serious, and very accurate quotes from those 8 hours.
{All the necessities for a HP marathon}
I can hardly wait until 12:01 am on 11/19. You can expect follow-up Harry Potter blog posts, because I just can't help myself. I'm obsessed.
Quotes to look forward to in Deathly Hallows:
"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!"
- Spoken by Molly Weasley.
"We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter's the one,
And Voldy's gone moldy, so now let's have fun!"
- Peeves' Victory Song.
"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
-Spoken by Albus Dumbledore.
