Not even a week into the new year, and it's proving to be better and brighter than the year past. New-found patience and acceptance of change compel me to believe that this will be a very interesting year. I have resolved to truly see things through: set goals, accomplish goals, exceed goals. Keep an open mind, do not allow expectations to interfere with experiences.
2011 Resolutions
1. Go back to school for M.Ed in Early Childhood Education/Psychology, eventually Ph.D. in Child Psychology!
2. Volunteer - ideally in the classroom with elementary students
3. Travel - fly to at least one place, hopefully two
4. Write - even if it's only in this blog
5. Every great story needs a soundtrack - expand music knowledge & go to more live shows
6. Network - continue attending YPCTC & join other social media/marketing groups
7. Throw my Dad one hell of a party when he beats cancer - for the 2nd time!
I want to keep going, but I really like the number 7 and I have to keep in mind I need to do all these while holding down a full time job and hopefully moving to MPLS!
